Cotile Trade Days

Adjoining the Hot Wells area is the Cotile Recreation Area. The lake has a surface area of 1735 acres with a maximum depth of 25 feet, 400 acres cleared for sailing, boating, and water skiing, 55 spaces for camping, 100 picnic sites, and a boat dock and launching area.

In March, the area become a very busy place as the Trade Days take place. The vendors set up their booths in the great outdoors and enjoy the nature setting while doing business.

The event began as a very small gathering, so to speak, but today it has grown in size. The numbers of people in attendance has grown as well.

At this unique even, one can find many interesting exhibits and sales. Artists have been known to attend this one event and sell everything they paint during that year. There is something for everyone in the line of crafts and food.

This even is so unique as it is out in the woods by the lake and not in a city. This is one you really don't want to miss. See you there!!
