I have the decendants of Eli Zenon CARPENTER and his wife Nettie HUMPHREY listed fairly complete. They resided in Turkey Creek, LA until their deaths in 1944 and 1953 for Mr. CARPENTER. If you have them listed I would like to have their ancestors records. I would be happy to send you what I have for the genealogy.

Looking for information on Eliza and brother Andrew DEASON. Eliza married John LEGG in 1869 in Rapides Parish. Also looking for any information on Irish immigrant Frank MCDONALD and his wife Ann Melissa MONIN who were married in Rapides Parish in 1887.

My family includes the Belgian branch of D'ESPALLIER. The name appeared in Belgium in 1740 and I have found all descendants. There are other DESPALLIER however, also in the US: I know of Charles M. DESPALLIER Born in Louisiana 1812; Residence: Rapides Parish; Signed the Texan Declaration of Independance at Goliad in 1835; Died in the Battle of the Alamo, Texas 1836; One of the Defenders of the Alamo, belonged to William B. Travis' company. His was the son of "Caudida" DESPALLIER. He had an older brother called Blaz Phillipe DESPALLIER. He took part in the Siege of Bexar. Another Defender of the Alamo was Carlos ESPALIER. I also found a Bernardo Martin DESPALIER, Captain of Fort/Post El Rapido, Louisiana, in 1795.

Am seeking father of William HENDERSON, b.2 Sept. 1732 Hanover County Va. Died 1792-3 Falls of Ohio Ky. #2 wife believed to be Dorothy V. MANADUE. His sons were John and Joseph Franscis HENDERSON who received Spanish land grants in 1789 in Rapides and Calcasieu Parishes. Francis HENDERSON died 8 Nov 1856 at Cotile.Boyce, LA. He is buried at Henderson Hill. Of John I have no information.Francis HENDERSON was married to Rosanna HENDERSON 12 March 1798 in Natchez, Mississippi.

I am seeking information on Pierre (Peter) BONIOL born circa 1794 and died before 1825 in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. He can be found on the 1820 Rapides Parish, LA census. He is the father of Louis Malafret BONIOL and Marzalie E. Boniol MARSH. He was married to Anne MERCHIOL in 1817. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I would like to find out when he died and his place of burial.

I am looking for any records relating to my grandparents. They were married in Rapides Parish in 1904. Name: William Louis Asbury SAVAGE born 31 August 1874 Cheneyville, Rapides Parish, LA. Married Ethel Willie DOUGLAS 04 July 1904, Rapides Parish, LA. They lived in this area for several years. William Savage may have had a problem with the sheriff around 1911-1916. The Savage family was large and William's father was John Wesley SAVAGE who lived and died in this area.

Looking for any information available on the parents of my great-great grandparents: Benjamin COULLARD 1861-1944 and Rachel BRISSON 1862-1936 married 1883 and had 11 children (Olivier, Flora, Delia, Rose, Arthur J., Joseph B., Maude, Evelyn, Louis Edward, Willia Hazel and Beverly J.) Coullard and Brisson were born in Quebec and ventured toward Alexandria, LA in the early 1900's. I have been told that both are buried in Alexandria.

Searching for the ancestors of Ella and Henriann MILLER. Ella and Henriann were sisters. My great-great grandfather, Thomas O. WELLS (1864-1913) first married Ella, then after her death he married her sister, Henriann. Ella's birthdate is unknown to me, and her children with Thomas included Thomas Jr., my great grandfather. Henriann was born 29 Nov 1877 and died 20 Jan 1950. Her children included Martha "Annette" WELLS, Ida Brent WELLS, and Julian Curtis WELLS. All of the above was in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. Does anyone know the ancestry of this MILLER line?

I would like any info on the PORTER family of Rapides Parish. I have Jamima PORTER who was born and died in Pineville b 26 Mar 1856 d. 22 July 1917 and is buried at the old Methodist Church in Pineville. I also have W. Edward PORTER and Lucy BEVILL married in Pineville around 1855. Anything on these families would be great.
