Looking for any information on Ida GREGORY FORD FOSTER HYMES. She was my great grandmother. First husband (Lorenzo D. FORD) died around 1899. Not sure when or where. She married Fritz HYMES in Rapides Parish in 1911. I feel as if they both died in Alexanderia. Would appreciate hearing from anyone that has heard these names before.

DAVID, Joesph was said to have been sent to the State Hospital in Pineville abt. 1920. I am told he died there. He would have been around 60 years old. He was married to Bettie Barton and lived in Biloxi where he operated a grocery store. He was Syrian. Is there anyway to find out where he would have been buried? Any info on him would be greatly appreciated.

My 91 year old aunt tells me that my grandfather, Abner W. GIBSON, came from Pineville, LA. I can find no data to support it however. He is the son of Lazar GIBSON and Geneva WILLIAMS. Abner was born June 15, 1881. His siblings include Alice, Emma, Ophelia, Susie, J. M., Catherine, and Lewis.

I'm looking for any one that may have info on my family. my grandfather was named Stephen JOHNSON and was born in Alexandria LA on Dec.5 1906 his parents are what I'm looking for info on there names were Stephen Johnson and Laura (madin WILLIS) Johnson remarided to MARTIN, my great grand father was born in Lecompte LA in 1877 and my G.Grandmother i'm not shure of because of the account that she was black. but my G.Gandfather was white. they where married in LA about 1899 and worked in Alexandria at the saw mill. My G.G.grandfather was named Stephen Johnson and was married to a Susen Johnson (maiden not known) they live on a plantation called the big house? in Lecompte LA.
