BONNER, RICHARDSON, WELLS posted by Edris Jorgensen on Monday, July 5, 1999

Looking for informtion on Samuel Levi WELLS, II,and his two sons by is first marriage to a Miss BONNER. (1) Willis WELLS according the book "The Wells Family Of La And Allied Families" sold his property March 6, 1818 and moved to Wilkerson Co., MS. He married an had a daughter named Mary Elizabeth WELLS and she married Robert R. RICHARDSON. (2)Rudolph WELLS according to the above book went to the Alamo with Jim Bowie and died there.I would like to know the real name of Willis WELLS. I believe it must have been Samuel WELLS,because my father remember an old gentleman that was called granpa Sam. Other reference show Willis WELLS died early so he either had to be named Samuel WELLS or there is an error somewhere in the info.

BONNER, WELLS posted by Edris Jorgensen on Monday, July 5, 1999

Looking for Willis WELLS and his brother Rudolph WELLS. They were the sons of Samuel Levi WELLS and a Miss BONNER. Willis WELLS sold his property in Rapides parish and went to Wilkerson County MS. I can't seem to get any info on these two brothers. My great grandmother was a WELLS and she married Robert R. Richardson. The info I have leads me to believe that this Willis WELLS was her father. Would appreciate any material I could. Thanks.

Mary Henrietta Wells FULTON 's second husband was Thomas J. HOOPER. I know that he is buried in Fishville. I also know that they had a large plantation that was spared burning because he was a mason. Does anyone know the name of this plantation?
