I am looking for any information on a Robert SCALLAN. He is my mother's grandfather and he was married to Fredia LEMOINE and they had several children I just want to know who his parents are and his siblings. Any information would be appreciated.

Harmon HARVESTON was enumerated in the 1860 Federal census of Rapides Parish. He was age 55 and born in S.C. Others in the household were Martha Ann, age 33, b. S.C., James, 16, b. La., and Curtis, age 10, b. La. Was Harmon the father of Matilda HARVESTON who m. W.R. BINGHAM ca. 1859? The Binghams were in Winn Parish in 1860. Will appreciate any data on the Harveston family.

I am looking for info on Benjamin L. JOHNS and his wife Margarett Barnes HERRINGTON JOHNS. The were married April 26, 1905 in Alabama. Both of them moved to Alexandria, Lousiana (Rapides Parish). Ben JOHNS was born Oct 12, 1878 in Alabama and died March 30, 1918 in Alexandria, La. Margarett was born Oct 9, 1872 in Alabama and died on April 15, 1918 in Alexandria also. They lived in Lousiana around the 1900's until their deaths. Looking for any relatives of these JOHNS family members. any help that you can provide would be appreciated. Seeking information on Morris and Watkins William WATKINS and Mary Francis (MORRIS) Watkins were listed in the 1870 Rapides Parish census,Cheneyville section. Their daughter Lula Rebecca WATKINS was born in Rapides Parish in 1869. I have the name of one other sibling, L.S. WATKINS. There were other daughters and prehaps other sons. I would appreciate any added information.

Reuben PARSONS, b. 1794, Wilbraham, Hampden Co., Mass., md. Martha Kilgore, La., and is in the 1830 Census of Rapides Parish. Martha is believed to be the daughter of James KILGORE, who appears in the 1820 census Rapides Parish. I have the PARSONS line back to 1600, but I'm curious about how and why Reuben came to La. And did he come alone, or was his brother Benjamin with him? Would love to hear more about these people...Reuben and Martha were my ggggrandparents. I will happily share any information.
